On the spotlight

you hide yourself from the crowd.
Cover your face with a shawl,
and fold yourself in something more glamourous.
you hide your sorrow and pain,
to show a glittering smile on your lips.
That doesn't belong to you.
you turn your head away,
when you find something amusing,
and you wonder if you are sane.
You are a coward,
or you are embarrased of yourself!
you feel like you are on the spotlight.
But look around,
do you see the judgemental crowd,
who drag you, rape you, tear you down?
look up and see their faces-
they are no one but you!
